Who we are

Neighbourhood Houses Barwon is an independent incorporated association that provides flexible and responsive support to the 24 Neighbourhood Houses in the Barwon region, the broader sector and the community at large. 

The local government areas covered by Neighbourhood Houses Barwon are:

  • City of Greater Geelong (14 Centres)

  • Colac Otway Shire (4 Centres)

  • Surf Coast Shire (5 Centres)

  • Borough of Queenscliffe (1 Centre)

We are governed by a Committee of Governance made up of members in the Neighbourhood Houses Barwon region. Neighbourhood Houses Victoria supports 16 regional networks including NH Barwon. We are thankful for their support and collaboration on issues, needs and projects across our region.

Neighbourhood Houses Barwon acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which 24 Neighbourhood Houses connect with their communities – the land of the Waddawurrung, Eastern Maar, Gulidjan and Gadubanud people – and pays respects to Elders, past, present and emerging.
